What communities may submit
Eligible communities may propose a public display name, alias, logo or image, public community URL, and a YouTube video associated with their global fandom. Contact email is collected privately for moderation and support.
Community creation may proceed without prior verification when minimum data is valid, but public assets may remain hidden until approved. Provisional status does not mean FandomWar has endorsed or officially recognized the community.
Required standards
- Use names and visuals that accurately identify the fandom or regional community without pretending to be an artist, label, agency, official organization, or another community.
- Submit only content you created, are authorized to use, or may lawfully reference.
- Use valid HTTPS links that lead where users reasonably expect.
- For featured videos, use an exact supported YouTube URL. Videos open on YouTube in a new tab; FandomWar does not promise a counted view.
- Keep public aliases and descriptions suitable for a broad international audience.
Prohibited content and conduct
- Sexual or pornographic content; exploitation or sexualization of minors.
- Hate speech, dehumanization, slurs, targeted harassment, threats, doxxing, stalking, or encouragement of real-world violence.
- Impersonation, false endorsement, fraudulent claims, deceptive redirects, phishing, malware, downloads, shortened links, spam, or scams.
- Copyright or trademark infringement, unauthorized personal images, privacy violations, or publication of private contact or financial data.
- Bots, checkout interference, coordinated payment abuse, engagement manipulation, fake reports, reservation blocking, or attempts to bypass moderation and rate limits.
- Fundraising, donations, resale, gambling, prizes, political campaigning, unlawful goods/services, or financial promises through community content.
Logos, links, and video moderation
FandomWar may validate URLs automatically and review content manually. Checks may include protocol and domain validation, redirect inspection, malware/phishing reputation, visual moderation, ownership concerns, and user reports. Uploaded images may be reprocessed to remove metadata or hidden files before publication.
Automated screening is not a guarantee of safety or approval. FandomWar may reject, hide, replace, or remove an asset immediately while investigating. External sites remain responsible for their own content and policies.
Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, FandomWar may warn a submitter, hide specific content, suspend a community profile, prevent new submissions, preserve evidence, or report unlawful conduct. A content moderation action does not automatically change a valid territory conquest or create a refund right when the purchased game state was delivered.
Serious safety, fraud, payment, or legal concerns may be acted on without advance notice. We may retain limited moderation records to prevent repeat abuse and defend decisions.
Reports and appeals
Use Support to report content. Include the territory/community, exact URL, reason, and any non-sensitive evidence. Do not publicly confront the reported person or submit government IDs, full payment details, or unrelated private information.
Submitters may request review of a moderation decision. Review does not guarantee restoration, verification, or official status.
